The Verizon Mifi vs. the Virgin Mifi. Which is best? Well… the question should really be "Which one sucks less?" In general, the Verizon Mifi seems to be about 25% faster than the Virgin Mifi, however the Verizon cards seems to stutter every 5 minutes or so for no good reason and then your pages have to be refreshed in order to continue loading. The Verizon device is $60 / month with a 2 year contract and a 5 gig cap. The Virgin device is $40 / month with no contract and no cap. My final decision is to keep the Virgin device. I can cancel anytime, it works without stuttering, and there's no limit on how much I can download.
I love the Dave Hill effect, and I've come up with a similar technique. I'm not quite on his level yet, but hopefully this is something everyone can use to have fun with their photos.
